The Emergency Medicine Program at THP - one of the largest programs in Ontario, seeing over 250,000 patients on a yearly basis - is seeking Emergency Medicine Specialists to join their innovative and exciting team. The program is advancing our platform in new ways, such as focusing on digital technologies, and has recently embraced a robust Simulation program.
The physicians will provide hospital care at the MH/QHC-sites, CVH-site, or at all three sites. Our team values equitability, supporting one another, a commitment to continual improvement with enthusiasm, and willingly looks at innovation in how we deliver care.
The organization is an affiliated academic teaching centre with the University of Toronto. The preferred candidates will have the opportunity to diversify their clinical work with participation in teaching and contribute to quality improvement and program development activities while developing medical leadership skills. This position represents an opportunity to join a group of dedicated healthcare professionals in a progressive organization. The successful candidates will be licensed or eligible for licensing in good standing by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. The applicant will also be either a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or the College of Family Physicians of Canada, with an Emergency Medicine (EM) certification or equivalent experience.
